Cultivation and cropping in a wetlandCultivation and cropping can occur in a wetland usually during drier months or years when the wetland can be accessed. Cultivation and cropping activities most often result in a loss of wetland. However, sometimes wetland hydrological cycles can continue to persist despite cultivation and cropping activities which is observed with crop failure due to waterlogging.
