SummaryConduct feral pig control (baiting and trapping) within the Wide Bay Military Training Grounds (WBMTG) to reduce damaging effects of feral pigs on sensitive coastal ecosystems.
BenefitsTo assist the Department of Defense implement recommendations of the Wide Bay Military Training Area Pest Animal Management Strategy (2006) and meet the objectives of the Queensland Feral Pig Strategy (1994) and the Commonwealth Feral Pigs Threat Abatement Plan (2005).
