SummaryThe project engages 3 landholders in close proximity to complete gully repair works. Earthworks will involve mechanically reshaping and repairing the priority gullies and stock exclusion to allow revegetation to stabilise the area. Landholder contributions will involve up to 50% of soil conservation cost and 30% of creek restoration costs. This project aims to prevent significant volumes of sediment from entering the Condamine River system.
Benefits
In total, 88 projects were completed by 30 June 2019. These included:
