Summary

This project will regenerate riparian areas at Nindigully and in particular areas surrounding the Moonie River and the Bingle Camping and Watering Reserve. Specifically, the project will encompass re-vegetation activities, the installation of traffic control devices, and the installation of a watering system and signage.

Benefits

This project will:
  • reduce erosion, scalding, impact on native and fragile flora and fauna
  • improve water quality of the Moonie River
  • protect the Coolabah Woodland (endangered ecological species)
  • reduce weeds through re-establishing native vegetation as the dominant flora.
