Summary

This project aims to control the spread of prickly acacia and reduce the impact of weeds in the Mitchell Grass Downs bioregion of north west Queensland.

Benefits

This project will:
  • benefit landholders and the environment in Nelia District by further implementing strategic weed control in 60,000ha in Mitchell Grass Downs
  • strengthen the containment lines and create buffer zones.
