Summary

Waterway maintenance, rehabilitation and revegetation at Brodies Park North.

Benefits

Cundoot Creek, Morayfield is one of several priority sites that have been identified for on-going coordinated maintenance as part of the Moreton Bay Regional Council Waterway and Water Body Maintenance program. The works are part of a multi-year program to rehabilitate and revegetate Cundoot Creek. The target objective for this project is weed removal and revegetation to develop a closed canopy cover over Cundoot Creek. This will be achieved through regular, on-going weed control, planting native species and protection of naturally regenerating native plants. The primary objective is to shade the creek, reduce waterway and terrestrial weeds.
