BenefitsCabbage Tree Creek is one of several priority sites that have been identified for on-going coordinated maintenance as part of the MBRC Waterway and Water Body Maintenance program. The main aim is to encourage an improved canopy cover over the waterway to reduce future maintenance, provide water quality benefits and improved fauna habitats. The aim for this site is for weed control along Cabbage Tree Creek ahead of planned future revegetation projects. The main objective is to encourage and improved canopy cover to shade the creek and minimise weed growth.
