Data Lineage

Lineage statement, a general explanation: This dataset is a union of the six GBR NRM Regions. As the individual GBR catchment models have catchment boundaries derived from the SRTM DEM data there are minor differences in the external boundaries between regions due to differences in the generation cells along the edges. This merged dataset has been compiled for cartographic use where the differences have been resolved, however the boundaries won’t exactly align with the model data. All inconsistencies between NRM Regional boundaries were resolved. The attribute fields 'NRM_Region' and 'RepReg' indicate the 6 GBR NRM regions and 35 reporting regions respectively.

Report

Data quality report, evaluation method description: Basin boundaries were derived from the one-arc second SRTM-DEM-H raster (30m cell size). The positional accuracy is nominally 1:100,000
